Which method is best? Phone works well when you want a quick sense of fit or have a time sensitive problem, such as a sudden drop in traffic after a website change. Email or the form suits a fuller brief, especially if you want to share your website address, a list of competitors or notes from a previous agency.
We review enquiries personally before replying. If you are contacting us from overseas, please mention your time zone so we can suggest a call time that works for both of us.
Meetings at our Remuera office are by appointment. For organisations outside Auckland we meet by video call, which keeps things simple and lets us share your website and data on screen as we talk.
Requesting an SEO quote in NZ
An SEO quote should tell you exactly what you are paying for. Ours do. Each written quote sets out:
- The work included, such as technical fixes, content, local SEO or website development.
- What is not included, so there are no surprises later.
- The order we recommend doing things in, and why.
- Who is responsible for each task, including anything your own team handles.
- How we will report progress and how often we will review the plan.
Why do we not publish a single fixed price? Because a five page website for a local trade and a large ecommerce site serving several countries need very different amounts of work. A quote is not a commitment. Take the time you need, ask questions and compare it with others. We would rather you choose us because the plan makes sense than because you felt rushed.
We also do not guarantee rankings, traffic or AI citations. No honest SEO company controls Google or an AI model. What we put in writing is the work, the standards we hold it to and how we will report on it.
Your free SEO consultation
A free SEO consultation with us is a working conversation, not a sales presentation. It usually takes place by phone or video call with Cathy Mellett, our director.
What will we cover? Typically:
- What you want your website to achieve over the next year.
- How your site currently appears in Google and in AI tools such as ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews.
- The main technical, content or local issues we can see from the outside.
- Which improvements are likely to matter most, and which can wait.
- Whether a deeper SEO audit or AI visibility audit would help.
To get the most from the time, have your website open and, if you have them, access to Google Search Console and Google Analytics. Neither is essential.
You will leave with a clearer picture of where you stand and what to do next, whether you do that work yourself, with your current provider or with us. That is the point of the conversation.
How We Work
What to include in your enquiry
You do not need a polished brief to contact us. A few details help us give you a more useful first reply and save you a round of back and forth questions:
- Your website address, or a note that you do not have one yet.
- What you want more of, for example enquiries, bookings, online sales or a stronger reputation.
- Where your customers are: one town, several regions, all of New Zealand or overseas.
- What you have tried already, and what did or did not work.
- Whether you are interested in SEO, AI search, a new or rebuilt website, or are not yet sure.
- Any deadline that matters, such as a website launch, a seasonal peak or a contract renewal.
If you are unsure what you need, say so. Many people contact an SEO company because something is not working and they do not know why. Working that out is part of our job, not yours.
Please do not send passwords or login details through the form or by email. If we need access to Google Search Console, Google Analytics or your website later, we will arrange it properly with user level permissions that you control.
What happens after you get in touch
People often hesitate to contact an SEO company because they expect a hard sell. Here is exactly what happens instead.
- We read your enquiry and look at your website and how it currently appears in search.
- We reply after reviewing your enquiry, with any questions and a suggested next step.
- If it makes sense, we arrange a free SEO consultation by phone or video call.
- Where there is clear work to do, we send a written proposal with scope, timing and cost.
- You decide in your own time. There is no pressure and no follow up sequence.
During the free consultation we talk through your goals, look at your website together and point out the issues that stand out. You will come away with something useful even if you never work with us.
